When God Opens Your Eyes

Perception can be confusing. We tend to see things as we expect or want to see them and not always as they really are. And of course what we perceive becomes real for us, even if it doesn’t match the facts!

An attendant of the prophet Elisha had the same problem. He woke up one morning and saw that he and Elisha were surrounded by enemy troops and they were in serious trouble. He saw only defeat.

But Elisha saw things differently and prayed that God would open his servant’s eyes. When he did, his reality was changed. Maybe God needs to open your eyes, come on Sunday to learn more.
