Pray always, and don’t give up

Prayer is something we often talk about and we seem to be convinced that is an essential part of Christian life. But what is it? The disciples asked Jesus to teach them, because they weren’t sure and he gave them a number of parables to help them understand. One of those parables encouraged them to never give up, or lose heart.

Do you sometimes lose heart when your prayers are seemingly unanswered or don’t get any further than the ceiling? How should we pray, is there a pattern or a method or do we just do our own thing?
