Real Friends - Loving Childcare - Come as You Are

Children

Giving kids a safe and solid foundation for life.

Australind Baptist Church offers safe, clean, fun and loving childcare to all families attending our services, at no cost.

Parenting Space @ Sunday Church (0-3 years)

Space is provided, during our church services, for parents who wish to withdraw with their small children. A "live feed" video link ensures that you won't miss a thing. There are toys available for the children and tea and coffee making facilities for parents. Please ask at the door when you arrive, about how you can take advantage of this service.

ABC Kids Church (Primary age K-7)

ABC Kids Church is our learning environment for children in their primary school years. The program employs a variety of fun and fascinating learning experiences to give children a solid foundation for life centred on Christian principles. Children must be registered prior to the church service in order to attend ABC Kid's Church (Simply ask at the door about where you can register your child). Children then join their parents in "Big" church at 10am. At about 10:15am the Band will play a "cue" and an announcement will be made to indicate the time for children to leave for "Kid's Church." Your children will be met by their teacher in the foyer. Children must be collected immediately after the church service, by the parent who signed them in. It is a safety requirement that parents remain on the premises for the duration of Kid's Church.

World Vision Kid's Hope Australia

How much difference can one-on-one time for one hour, once a week, make to the life of a child? The answer to that question is visible every week on the faces of kids at Australind Primary School, where our volunteers are building caring, supportive relationships with students through Kid's Hope Australia.

Parent/Child Dedications

A Parent/Child Dedication is an opportunity for you to present yourself to God, and to seek his help in providing everything necessary for the growth of your child physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. When a parent brings their child to God in a Dedication service they are indicating a willingness to partner with God and the Church to raise the child. Dedicating your child cannot bring salvation to your child. Salvation only comes through Jesus Christ as each person recognizes his or her own sinfulness and receives forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. The scriptural root for this type of dedication is found in 1 Samuel 1:27-28 "I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord."  Infant Dedications are held as a part of our Sunday church service. Our Pastor will officiate. To arrange a Parent/Child Dedication service you should take the following steps:

Step 1: Contact the church and register your interest in a Parent/Child Dedication.

Step 2: Attend a Parent/Child Dedication interview with our Pastor.

All adult paid and volunteer staff who work with children at Australind Baptist Church are screened and are required by law to be holders of a current "Working With Children" card.
