What’s love got to do with it?

Last week we looked at I think I know who I thought I was.

Marriage is a hot topic today. Wherever you turn there is comment about it, how it should be defined, whom should be able to be married and so on. One of the key slogans of those seeking to redefine marriage to include same sex unions is ‘love is love’, but as Tina Turner asked when she spoke about an abusive marriage of her own, ‘what’s love got to do with it?’

How does the Bible describe marriage and how important is it? Should it be lifelong, monogamous, heterosexual or are other possibilities acceptable. And if you are married what should you do to make sure it is all God intended it to be?
