Last week on Sunday we talked about God leading us into Worship. In both the Old and New Testaments the main idea conveyed by worship is to ‘bow down’ and show reverence and respect. This represents the attitude we are to display toward God. Worship is not a casual encounter but entrance in to the presence of a holy and majestic God. You can get the notes from last week here for more reflection.
Have you felt like you are in a dry and weary land where there is no water? Perhaps you have tried desperately to follow God’s leading but wound up in the desert? No matter what you do, what you read or where you go, you still come up dry and empty. The fact is the Holy Spirit leads us into the desert. Why? and what should we do when we are in it? Come on Sunday and find out.
